How the robot pulls the job.
Two strategies on one chart: gold trend breakouts and index dip buying. A stop loss on every trade. No grid, no martingale.
Two strategies, one chart
Attach Giza to any chart. It trades every listed market by itself.
The gold breakout
Rides gold's big trends
- Buy stop above the high and sell stop below the low of the last 20 bars on XAUUSD H1, only in the direction of the 200 EMA.
- Stop loss 3 × ATR that trails behind the best price since entry. No fixed take profit: a winner stays open while gold keeps running.
- When one order fills, the other is deleted. Pending orders are removed on Friday evening, so nothing fills on a Monday gap.
The index dip
Buys short, sharp sell-offs
- Buys a dip in the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Dow 30 and Nikkei 225 while their long-term trend is up.
- Enters when the day closes with RSI(2) below 10 and above the 200-day average; exits at the first close above the 5-day average, or after 10 days.
- Stop loss 3 × ATR on every trade. About 3 trades a month, each held about 3 days.
Three presets, tested
MT5 Strategy Tester, real broker price history, 1-minute OHLC, 100,000 USD start, January 2020 to October 2026. Tested results, not live ones — the live account is on the results page.
| Preset | Risk per trade | Safety net | Result | Largest drop |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aggressive | gold 2%, indices 3% | 30% max loss | +769% | 35.2% |
| Standard (default) | gold 1%, indices 1% | 20% max loss | +201% | 17.7% |
| Low Drawdown | gold H4 1%, indices 1% | 20% max loss | +52.8% | 12.0% |
The bad years, too: from 2020 to 2022 the Aggressive preset made only +20.5% and went through its 35.2% drop. Breakouts earn in trending markets and give some back in sideways ones. If a 35% drop would make you switch the EA off, run Standard or Low Drawdown. All three presets come free with the EA. Past results do not guarantee future results.
How it protects the account
Every good heist has a way out. Giza's is built in.
- A stop loss on every trade, and the lot is sized from your risk %, so a trade that hits its stop costs about the % you set (price gaps and slippage can add to it).
- Max-loss safety net: 20% by default. Hit it and Giza closes everything and stops trading.
- Loss-limit-safe sizing: before every trade it adds up what the account would lose if every open trade and pending order hit its stop, and only uses the room left before your limit.
- News lock: no new orders around high-impact news from MetaTrader's built-in calendar.
- Prop-firm ready: built-in presets for FTMO, FundedNext and The5ers — pick your firm and keep the risk at 1% or lower.
What you need
- MetaTrader 5 and a broker with gold and stock-index CFDs. Giza finds your broker's symbol names by itself (US500, SP500, USTEC, NAS100, US30, JP225…).
- Hedging or netting accounts both work. Low index spreads and a VPS help.
- Small account? A cent account lets Giza trade gold at its normal risk % with a few hundred dollars.
Common questions
Does it use a grid or martingale?
No. Every trade has its own stop loss and a lot sized from your risk %.
Is the live account running the same robot?
Yes. The live results page runs Giza Gold EA with the Aggressive preset and the news filter on. Every trade is shown, losses included.
How often does it trade?
Gold breakouts come whenever gold makes a new 20-bar high or low in the trend direction. The index dip trades about 3 times a month and holds about 3 days.
Can I use it on a prop-firm challenge?
Yes. Pick FTMO, FundedNext or The5ers in the inputs and keep the risk at 1% or lower — not the Aggressive preset.
Can I test it first?
Yes. The MQL5 Market lets you download the free demo and run it in your own MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester before you buy or rent.
